Annie Malouin

Born: 1977, Gaspe, Quebec, Canada

Years Racing: since 2001

How I got started in racing I did some triathlons in high school and college. During vet school, I competed in long distance running races, but I would ride my road bike and sometimes my mountain bike for cross training. When I immigated to the US, I met Colin, an avid bike racer. He took off my reflectors on my lovely pink heavy steel road bike and taught me more about the sportÅ  I started doing some training races in Pittsburgh and I fell in love with the sport! I bought a new road bike and I became a team member of the ESSM/GPOA cycling team in Pittsburgh.
